It's Edie's Office, Too

Just so you know, it's Edie's office, too. She has her own laptop, and sets-up shop for important things, like sending imaginary emails and learning to read and such. She can type, oh, I'd say, about 600 words a minute, as well.

Feeding Beemer - one of her favorite hobibies. Beemer doesn't mind indulging her, either

Photos From an Average Day

Here are some random pictures of an average evening at our house. This was after dinner, and just before Edie was off to bed (notice the jammies).

That card she is carrying around is a birthday card I received earlier in the day from my dear friend, Jenn. Clearly, Edie enjoyed reading it.

Look at that little boy laugh!

What. A. Face. I think she was in "Monster Baby" mode. This is one of Dave's favorite photos of Edie.

A little cranky boy

Dave had graduation the weekend before, and thought Eric should try on the cap

What Up?

What is that face? Looks like she was up to no-good

Putting on her own shoes

Gearing up to chase Beemer

Going in to give her brother a kiss

Swing Away

Eric loves to be in the swing. If he could he'd swing away all day and all night.

Edie really hated the swing. She still hates swings and hammocks of all sorts. Meanwhile, Eric can't spend enough time in the swing. Thanks to Aunt Sally for handing it down to us!

Mother's Day, 2010

This Mother's Day was an especially special one, as we had little Eric with us to celebrate. The day started by meeting up with Mom and Dad in one of our favorite places, Cooperstown, NY. Our usual haunt was packed, but that was to be expected on what is probably one of the busiest restaurant days of the year. So, we ventured to another eatery across the street for a nice hearty breakfast. Edie used this time as a great way to butter-up not only her pancakes, but her grandparents as well.
I can never seem to get a picture of everyone with their eyes open, or at least looking decent!

Mom and Dad gave me some beautiful presents, including a new calligraphy set, and of course had goodies for the kids. After Edie hammed-it-up for other restaurant patrons, she went for a stroll around the block with Grammie and Grampie.

It was only after we got home that we learned Grammie and Grampie let her stomp in mud puddles.

At home, we used the rainy Sunday as an opportunity to bum around the house (like we need an excuse!), and maybe play a few games.

Edie with Dudley, who was my bear when I was little

Edie was thinking about terrorizing Eric, but then thought otherwise (for the moment)

Just a random photo of Edie's rocking chair. It was given to us by Dave's parents, Richard and Christine

No, she's not hugging him, she's tackling him

Trying to sleep through the whole thing - if only he did this at night, too!

Ole! (Clap, Clap)

We used this little seat for Edie, too, and she doesn't want anyone to forget it was hers first

This kid is the loungey-ist kid we know!
We hope you had a great Mother's Day, too! And to all the moms out there - keep up the good work!

Dave and Eric

A little blurry, but had to show you how much this boy loves sucking on his fingers and thumb!
I happen to think that Eric looks a lot like Dave. I'm not really sure what it is about him (maybe just because he is a boy?) that makes him look like his daddy to me, but it's kind of fun, considering Edie looks more like me than she does Dave. These pictures were taken just before Mother's Day (Eric was about 6 weeks old), and even though his looks change everyday, I think he still looks like his daddy.

Happy as a little clam

One of my favorite pictures of him
A special thanks to Bill and Christa for the adoreable jammies. He wears them all the time!

Piggy Back Rides!

Edie found a new favorite game - piggy back rides. She'll climb on Dave's back, and he'll run around the house and she laughs and screams so loud! Although, I'm really not sure who likes it more - Dave or Edie.
