Mother's Day, 2010

This Mother's Day was an especially special one, as we had little Eric with us to celebrate. The day started by meeting up with Mom and Dad in one of our favorite places, Cooperstown, NY. Our usual haunt was packed, but that was to be expected on what is probably one of the busiest restaurant days of the year. So, we ventured to another eatery across the street for a nice hearty breakfast. Edie used this time as a great way to butter-up not only her pancakes, but her grandparents as well.
I can never seem to get a picture of everyone with their eyes open, or at least looking decent!

Mom and Dad gave me some beautiful presents, including a new calligraphy set, and of course had goodies for the kids. After Edie hammed-it-up for other restaurant patrons, she went for a stroll around the block with Grammie and Grampie.

It was only after we got home that we learned Grammie and Grampie let her stomp in mud puddles.

At home, we used the rainy Sunday as an opportunity to bum around the house (like we need an excuse!), and maybe play a few games.

Edie with Dudley, who was my bear when I was little

Edie was thinking about terrorizing Eric, but then thought otherwise (for the moment)

Just a random photo of Edie's rocking chair. It was given to us by Dave's parents, Richard and Christine

No, she's not hugging him, she's tackling him

Trying to sleep through the whole thing - if only he did this at night, too!

Ole! (Clap, Clap)

We used this little seat for Edie, too, and she doesn't want anyone to forget it was hers first

This kid is the loungey-ist kid we know!
We hope you had a great Mother's Day, too! And to all the moms out there - keep up the good work!
